This page is designed to help you along the way through your student training and/or checkout.  Below, you will find links to syllabi and other training resources as they become available.  While these resources are a good starting point, be sure to contact your CFI or CFII prior to each flight so that you are prepared for that day’s instruction.  Good luck and safe flying!

CHECKOUT REQUIREMENTS

To get checked out in Club aircraft, you must have signed up as a Flying Club or Transient Member and have a current account with Monarch Sky.  The checkout process is quite simple:

  1. Download and read the Final Checkout Guidance document.

  2. Download and complete the open book Quiz for the aircraft in question (see right margin).

  3. Download and print a copy of the Checkout Standards and Maneuvers to see what you will do on your checkout.

  4. Schedule a checkout with a Monarch Sky CFI (702-631-0386).

  5. Scan or fax (702-947-6578) a signed copy of the Checkout Standards and the open book Quiz to the front office.
