Come join us for the fly-in event of the year! You don't want to miss this trip. Imagine you and your loved ones flying into your own private airstrip right on the Baja peninsula. From there, it is a short drive to your gorgeous beach front villa, where you will enjoy 5 nights of fun and sun. If you like activities, here are some of the things that you may choose to enjoy on this trip...
WARNING: New borders and customs rules require all individuals who travel to and from Mexico by air to have a valid passport. If you do not have a passport, you can apply for one at the U.S. Department of State website. Passport applications normally take 4-6 weeks, however for a fee, you can expedite your application and get your passport in 2-3 weeks.
The dates of this trip are still TBD. Monarch Sky will organize lodging and transportation. Most aircraft will have the range to fly direct to Rocky Point (289nm), which is a Port of Entry. There is no fuel at Rocky Point, so on the way home, we will stop at Yuma for fuel and customs. The total distance of these 2 legs is approximately 400nm. We will also coordinate group activities if requested, such as SCUBA or Deep Sea Fishing trips.
You will be staying in a 9 bedroom beach front villa that personifies luxury. All rooms are air conditioned. Please see pictures below...
           
Estimated Costs:
The cost of this trip will vary based on which aircraft you choose to fly, number of seats occupied for the given aircraft, and of course, which activities you choose to participate in. The information below is provided as a guide to help you estimate your costs.
- Lodging (5 nights): Rates vary from $50 to $80 per person per night, depending on occupancy and type of room requested.
- Flying: Plan on 6.0 flying hours round trip. Use Gold Tier rates when calculating the aircraft rental costs. Divide by number of passengers to get an approximate cost per person.
- Transportation: We will rent one van to serve our group transportation needs. Depending on the number of Members and Guests we have, you may consider renting your own vehicle during your stay if you don't want to wait for group transportation. Cost will be no more than $50 per person.
- Supplies: When we arrive in Rocky Point, we will make one run to the super market to purchase basic supplies, such as snacks, beverages, toiletries, etc. The cost of this supply run will be equally divided among Members & Guests. Plan on $25 per person.
- Instruction (optional): If you request an instructor, they will not charge for their time, but they will not pay for a seat either.
- Total Estimated Price of Trip: Between $600 to $800 per person. Dining and optional activities will cost extra.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any aircraft not needed for this trip will be released to other Members. Once we have a final head count, we will issue a more accurate estimate of cost per person based on the extent of participation.
