There are many career pilots that aspire to fly corporate or Part 135 charter. While becoming a flight instructor is the most common path, there are some that have no desire to teach and therefore, need to build their experience through other means. Typically, these indviduals will get their certificates and ratings and then try to get hired on as a co-pilot or first officer.
Monarch Sky offers several advantages for those who look to transition directly into corporate aviation or charter. First, we have developed strategic alliances with several corporate flight departments and they often interview our candidates first. Second, we train you in state-of-the-art aircraft that far exceed the typical trainers that most schools use. For example, all of your twin engine training is done in a 2008 DA42 Twin Star, which features fully automated digital engine control (FADEC) and it is a technically advanced aircraft with a G-1000 integrated avionics system.
Typically, charter and corporate flight departements weigh your experience differently, depending on what you have flown and the amount of experience you have. Most are looking for 3 things:
- Multi-engine Time
- Glass Cockpit Time (G-1000 or equivalent)
- FADEC
With Monarch Sky, you get all three and that is what will set you apart from the rest of the field. The aggregate cost of the curriculum (Private --> Instrument --> Commercial --> Multi Add-on) is approximately:
Prices Starting at $20,585
ADDITIONAL TRAINING: The course total above are derived from FAA regulations and may not represent the actual amount of training required to achieve the specified certificates and/or ratings. The timeline and prices quoted are based on minimum hours. Additional training will be billed at an hourly rate and could extend the graduation date.
PREREQUISITES: All Monarch Sky courses and pricing assume that students meet the FAA prescribed experience prerequisites. If students wish, Monarch Sky can provide Time Building in order to meet all prerequisites.
